"500th Anniversary of the Reformation: Lutheran -- What does this mean?"

The Convocation was held at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Grove City, Ohio on May 6, 2017.

Bishop John Bradosky lead us in worship and later provided insight into what it means to be a Lutheran in today’s world.

Additionally, there was a Youth Ministry tract in which attendees could choose to participate instead of attending two wokshops.

Workshops

PCAT TEAMS: Led by Pastor Amy Little – Learn more about the purposes and resources provided by the Pastoral Care and Transition (PCAT) teams. The afternoon session will be used for gathering and training time for the PCAT Teams.
CHURCH LEADERSHIP BEST PRACTICES: Church Leadership: Sacred? Secular? Faithful? Frustrating? Led by Pastor Daniel Powell and leadership of Grace, Springfield this session will aid in identifying and discussing how we can faithfully & effectively lead in our congregations.
REFORMATION RESOURCES: Led by Pastor Steve King – Learn what resources are available through SOLA for celebrating the 500th anniversary of the Reformation with your congregation.
LIFE2LIFE DISCIPLESHIP: Led by Pastor Eric Riesen – Learn more about Life-2-Life Discipleship in the NALC. As we grow in our training and understanding of what it means to be disciple-makers we are moving from the Navigators to our own leadership in the NALC. Come see what that will look like for us.
EQUIPPING YOUTH LEADERSHIP TRACK: A foundational presentation designed to aid a congregation in understanding the importance of creating a healthy youth & family ministry culture within the congregation. Once a healthy culture has been established then intergenerational relationships can flourish and programming becomes more effective.
